Artist of the week – Park Jung Ah
Our featured artist this week is Jewelry member Park Jung Ah, who recently released her first solo album. Park Jung Ah is the most popular member in Jewelry, and most people would agree that she is the group’s best singer too. With the recent trend of group members releasing their solo albums or singles, Park Jung Ah did the same. She has been preparing for her solo album since late last year. Jewelry’s music is mostly pop dance type, but Park Jung Ah impressed us with a more rock oriented feel in her solo album. Her title song "Yeah" reached the top 5 of our chart. Park Jung Ah also showcased her vocal ability, not only in the album, but she’s been singing live on all her performances.
Besides singing, the multi-talented Park Jung Ah is also an actress and a MC. Fans are going to see Park Jung Ah in many different events. Here is a short description on Park Jung Ah from KBS World:

Park Jung-ah made her solo debut in the fall of 2006 with the song “Yeah.” Breaking away from the pretty pop image she procured as a member of girl band Jewelry, Park Jung-ah has transformed into a beautiful, yet powerful female rocker. Since her solo debut was released, Park has been attracting fans from various age groups with her strong vocal power and sometimes boyish image. Park is aiming to become a leader in the world of K-pop with her solo album.
