Jo In Sung, first Best Actor Award after making a screen debut

Actor Jo In Sung was voted the ‘Best Actor of 2006 selected by College Students’ under the special section of ‘New Current Movie Star’ at the 2nd annual Pierson Film Festival.
The Pierson Film Festival is hosted by the Pyongtaek University movie club Mijangsen.
Jo In Sung was selected to be the Best Actor of the ‘New Current Movie Star’ category while Kim Hye Soo was Best Actress.
Pierson Film Festival personnel commented, "In the movie ‘A Dirty Carnival,’ Jo In Sung was able to act out a character different from his previous roles. He successfully portrayed a gangster and received the support of the male crowd."
After hearing the news, Jo In Sung commented through his agency, "This is the first award I am receiving after having filmed movies. It was an honor to be able to participate in a great movie such as ‘A Dirty Carnival’ and am honored to receive my first award at the ‘Pierson Film Festival."
The New Actor Award went to Ha Jung Woo of ‘The Unforgiven’ and ‘Time.’
The main event of the 2nd annual Pierson Film Festival will be held at Pyongtaek University on the coming 13th.
