Uhm Tae Woong will lead the KBS2 drama “The Devil (마왕)”

1/4/07 — Uhm Tae Woong (엄태웅) will lead the Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Devil (마왕, 魔王)” scheduled to be aired by KBS2 on 3/21. This is the second drama that he collaborates with PD Park Chan Hong (박찬홍) and the script writer Kim Ji Woo (김지우). 

Their previous drama was “Resurrection” aired by KBS2 in 2005.  During the broadcasting of the drama, there were more than 1 million messages posted at the BBS by viewers.  Subsequently, UTW was honored the “Excellence Award” in the 2005 KBS Performance Awards ceremony. 

This drama portrays the mystery of the subject called “Psychometry (사이코메트리)” which is the ability or art of divining information about people or events associated with an object solely by touching or being near to it.  Two men having the ability of psychometry confront with each other due to an accident happened when they were young as well as being falling in love with the same woman.  The filming is scheduled early February after the selection of the cast is completed.
