Song Il Kook, Han Jae Suk, and Jang Jin Young are selected to lead the SBS drama “The Lobbyist (로비스트)”
4/7/07 – Song Il Kook, Han Jae Suk, and Jang Jin Young (송일국, 한재석, 장진영) are selected to lead the drama “The Lobbyist (로비스트)” scheduled to be aired by SBS in September.
This drama portrays cold-hearted lobbyists involving in politics and weapon black markets in the international arena. SIK plays the role Harry (해리) who goes through ordeals and then becomes successful in a logistics enterprise. HJS plays the role Kang Jae Hyuk (강재혁) who is a lobbyist struggling between money and power.
SIK and HJS have some sort of karma between them. In 2004, HJS was originally selected to lead the KBS2 drama “God of the Sea”; however, SIK substituted HJS for the supporting role Yum Jang (염장) because HJS had to immediately start his military service then.
The production cost of “The Lobbyist (로비스트)” is around 12 billion Won. The PD is Lee Hyun Jik (이현직). Actor Huh Joon Ho (허준호), who played SIK’s role's father in the recent drama “Joo Mong”, will also perform in this drama.
