No. 1 song: Yangpa withstood very strong competitions and held on to the top spot for the 3rd straight week with "사랑…그게 뭔데" (Love…What Is That?). This week even though the top 4 songs remain unchanged, but it is the first time ever on our chart that 4 songs scored over 900 points in the same week. Even at No. 5, Dynamic Duo's "출첵" (Attendance Checkup) was not far behind at 876 points. Going back to Yangpa, her successful comeback reminds me more and more of Baek Ji Young last year. Ironically, Park Geun Tae produced both of their songs.

Biggest Mover of the week: Clazziquai's "Lover Boy" made a 20-spot jump straight into the top 10 at No. 6. Clazziquai's previous biggest hit was "She Is" from the hit drama "My Name is Kim Sam Soon". Their jazz style music is always unique and refreshing. Let see if they will hit the top with this new song.

Hot shot debut: A surprise song with a very high debut this week. New boy band F.T Island's "사랑앓이" (Painful Love) debuts at No. 8 this week. For their fans, it is not so surprising as their album is a top 3 seller in the sales chart. What is more surprising is that the promotional activity of F.T Island was only started recently. They are still unknown to many people. "Painful Love" is a fan pleasing debut song with a mid-tempo R&B popish melody. Vibe's Ryu Jae Hyun wrote and produced this song.

New songs: We have 7 new songs and 3 re-entries this week.

Songs to watch out:

5. Dynamic Duo (feat. Naul) “출첵” (Attendance Checkup) – Without such strong competitions, this song should already been in the top 3 or even No. 1. Now they have to gain more points to move up higher. Still a good song for hard core hip-hop fans. This song should go over 900 points next week.

10. Ivy – Cupido – Ivy returns to the top 10 only after 1 week off. It's already the 3rd top 10 hit for this album, which is very rare in k-pop. Her album is still in the top 20 in sales after 4 months of release. It is definitely one of the most successful albums in the first half of 2007. This song looks like will be another top 5 song for Ivy.

22. J (feat. Lee Jung) – 눈물로 (with tears) – 2nd biggest mover, up 17 spots to No. 22. We have many duets this year already, and I think this song is one of the best. Check it out.

30. Daylight – 머리를 자르고 (After Hair Cut) – We are probably familiar with Daylight as she was featured on ERU's big hit "Black Glasses" last year. Actually she debuted even earlier than ERU with a modern rock album and hits such as "Angel Song" and "Daylight". She's into ballads now which I think fits her voice better. This digital single a lovely ballad with should have no problem gaining acceptance.

34. V.O.S. + Hyun Joon of Monday Kiz – 나 이젠 (I Now) – Last year we have a collobration between 2 up and coming R&B female groups in See Ya and Brown Eyed Girls. This year, a similar collobration between 2 up and coming male groups V.O.S. and Monday Kiz. This song is tailor made to their styles of R&B ballads with smooth vocals.

38. H2歌人 – 사랑해 또 행복해 (I Love You And I'm Happy) – The group was formed by two members of H7 Beauties (who worked with Gavy NJ last year). They have managed to create a vocally exceptional album. The track is about a woman telling a guy she still loves him and can't forget him, and about her pleading with him to come back.

39. 2NB – 여자이니까 (Because I'm a Woman) – Remake of the mega hit by Kiss. I don't think I need to introduce this song as 95% of you should have heard it before (and watched the MV!). Audiences can compare the two versions to see which one they like.

The music video depicts Lee Yo-won and Jo Hyun-jae as lovers in both their previous and current lives. The story is about an all-transcending, destined love.

Arirang TV: Featured in SG Wannabe's 4th album, 'The Sentimental Chord,' this medium-tempo track was composed by Cho Young Soo, who wrote the title song for the album, 'Arirang.' This time, the group uses British instruments and gives off a distinctly British vibe. The music video, which follows SG Wannabe's 'Arirang' music video, tells a heartbreaking love story between characters portrayed by Lee Beom-su, Lee Seon-kyoon and Oak Joo-hyun.

Arirang TV: This is the title song for Lexy's 3rd album, 'Rush,' and it's an appealing piece indeed, with Lexy's powerful rapping and YG-entertainment's newcomer Kim Ji Eun's mechanical vocal style. A fast and light-hearted melody melds charmingly with rapping to bring out Lexy's almost uni-sexual appeal. The strong beats, punctuated with electronic sounds and driven with speed, create a surreal effect.

edward1849: Featured in the debut album, 'Cheerful Sensibility,' of the 5-member boy band F.T Island. The group is made up of Lee Hong-ki, Lee Jae-jin, Oh Won-bin, Choi Min-hwan and Choi Jong-hoon. The five guys boast an enviable mix of musical talent, performance flair and, of course, good looks. This mid-tempo R&B song is written and produced by Vibe's Ryu Jae Hyun.
