Two Hollywood films with Korean actors are due to open in the U.S. next
spring. The two Korean actors to appear on the films are Park
Joon-hyung (a.k.a. Joon Park), former member of idol group g.o.d., and
former model Daniel Henney of the “My Name Is Kim Sam-soon” fame.

20th Century Fox Korea held a briefing Thursday at Grand Hyatt Hotel in
Seoul to announce the film lineup for the year 2009. The list of films
to be released next year included Japanese-based manga “Dragon Ball”
with Park playing Yamcha, a friend of the main character Goku, and
“X-Men Origins: Wolverine” starring Henney as Agent Zero alongside Hugh
Jackman’s Wolverine. Teaser footages at the briefing showed Park’s
still shots from the film and Henney engaged in a duel with Jackman’s
Wolverine.

“Dragon Ball” is to make worldwide premier on March 14, 2009 in Korea
and Japan. “X-Men Origins” is due for release on April 30. The 20th
Century Fox Korea lineup announcement also included “Australia,”
starring Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman, “The Day the Earth Stood
Still” with Keanu Reeves, as well as such blockbusters as “Valkyrie,”
“Ice Age 3,” and “Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian.”
