Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Goo Hye Sun lead the KBS2 drama "Flower-like Men (꽃보다 남자)"

11/25/08 — Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Goo Hye Sun (이민호, 김현중, 김범, 김준, 구혜선) will lead the Monday-Tuesday drama "Flower-like Men (꽃보다 남자)" scheduled to be aired by KBS2 late December, following the final episode of "Worlds Within".

This drama is adapted from the Japanese comic books "Hana Yori Dango" which has been made into two precedent dramas – "Meteor Garden (流星花园, Taiwanese version)" and "Boys Over Flowers (花より男子, Japanese version)".

Lee Min Ho plays the role Goo Joon Pyo (구준표, the character Tsukasa in the original comics) wears a perm curly hair style.

Kim Hyun Joon plays the role Yoon Ji Hoo (윤지후). Han Chae Young appears in this drama as a guest star to play the role Min Suh Hyun (민서현, the character Shizuka in the original comics) who is a top model and was the first love of Ji Hoo. Suh Hyun lives in Paris, France. Although she is an elite, she works hard alone to study in a law school abroad. In the mean time, she is an international model with beautiful appearance. Moreover, she is the heiress of a large-scale law firm in Korea.

Kim Bum plays the role Soh Yi Jung (소이정) who is the second generation of a famous family of fine arts.

Kim Joon plays the role Song Woo Bin (송우빈) who is the son of a newly-rising real-estate and construction business tycoon.

Goo Hye Sun plays the role Chan Di (잔디, the character Tsukushi in the original comics) who is the daughter of the owner of a dry cleaning shop located at a run-down neighborhood on the outskirt of Seoul. One day, she is unexpectedly admitted to study in Shinhwa Private School, and then she experiences things happened around her that makes her dash this way and rush that way.

Actress Kim Hyun Joo also appears in this drama. She plays the role Goo Joon Hee (구준희) who is the eldest daughter of the owner of the top business group – Shinhwa Group. Since Joon Hee’s childhood, she has been living in upper-class social circle like a princess attracting many people’s attentions with envy. Joon Hee is Joon Pyo’s elder sister.

New actress Kim So Eun (김소은) plays Soh Yi Jung’s partner. In the beginning, she has one-way-love towards Yi Jung but her stability, careful considerations, and sincerity eventually unfolds the love story between Yi Jung and her.

These 4 main male leads playing "F4" are either young or new actors, and their respective birthday is – Kim Joon (2/3/1985), Kim Hyun Joong (6/6/1986), Lee Min Ho (6/22/1987), and Kim Bum (7/7/1989). Goo Hye sun’s birthday was on 9/9/1984 and she is older than all of the main male leads. Her previous two projects were period dramas "The King and I" and "The Most Powerful Chil Woo".
