Comment: Since the start of 2008, no song has stayed in the No. 1 spot for more than 3 weeks.  Baek Ji Young broke that record this week with "Like You Got Shot By A Gun". This song is No. 1 on our chart for the 4th straight week.  Even more impressive is that this song has gained 46 points compared to last week.  Coming back from vocal cord surgery, Baek Ji Young traded her signature husky voice for a pure crystal tone and released her 7th album "Sensibility".  Since switching from Latin dance to ballads two albums ago, Baek Ji Young has enjoyed great success.  "Like You Got Shot By A Gun" is a sentimental ballad written by "Hitmen" Bang Shi Hyuk.

Comment: Kim Kyung Rok, the youngest member of V.O.S, released his first solo album late last year.  The title song "We Are Now Strangers" is composed by hit-maker Cho Young Soo, and is moving up quickly to the top 5 in just 3 weeks. This sentimental ballad also features the slow rapping of Jewelry’s Ha Joo Yeon (aka Baby-J).

Comment: The latest hit from Big Bang’s 2nd album "Remember" is a solo effort by the group’s youngest member, Seung Ri.  Fittingly, the song is titled "Strong Baby".  With Tae Yang, G-Dragon, Dae Sung all releasing their solo songs perviously, and T.O.P appearing on dramas and also featuring rapper in many singers’ songs, Seung Ri is the last Big Bang member to begin solo activities.  He will have plenty of chances to showcase his talent on this song as it has been selected as the album’s 2nd single.  Seung Ri has begun to perform this song live on gayo shows.

Comment: A very good song to recommend this week as our bonus track is "Vis-A-Vis" from Melo Breeze.  The duo return with their third project digital single after one album and two singles. Melo Breeze have already gained much recognition with “Loving Person” and “Winter Bird”, which had movie-like lyrics.  This song has a westernized melody.  Its soft rock, easy-listening style is very refreshing.
