Soh Ji Sup, Shin Hyun Joon, Han Ji Min, and Chae Jung Ahn lead SBS drama “Cain and Abel (카인과 아벨)”

1/22/09 – Soh Ji Sup, Shin Hyun Joon, Han Ji Min, and Chae Jung Ahn (소지섭, 신현준, 한지민, 채정안) will lead the Wednesday-Thursday drama “Cain and Abel (카인과 아벨)” scheduled to be aired by SBS on 2/18, following the final episode of “Star’s Lover”.

This is the comeback drama for both Soh Ji Sup and Shin Hyun Joon since their respective last drama aired 5 years ago. SJS’s last drama was “I Am Sorry; I Love You” and SHJ’s last drama was “Stair to Heaven”. The PD is Kim Hyung Shik (김형식) who directed the popular drama “Surgeon Bong Dal Hee” aired by SBS in early 2007. The filming of this dramas has already started in both China and Korea in November of 2008.

This drama portrays masculinity and the gruesome rivalry of two brothers Cho In (초인, played by SJS) and Lee Sun Woo (이선우, played by SHJ). Cho In (초인) is a talented surgeon and Sun Woo is a surgeon as well. They are entangled in the love relationships with 2 heroines Kim Suh Yun (김서연, played by Chae Jung Ahn) and Oh Young Ji (오영지, played by Han Ji Min).

Oh Young Ji is a bright and practical woman who is always courageous and optimistic under any circumstance. In the beginning, she misunderstood that Cho In is a playboy, but then she gradually falls in love with him. In the meantime, she and Kim Suh Yun become love rivals. Kim Suh Yun has passion for music and she aspires to a composer.
