Kim Sun Ah, Cha Seung Won, and Choo Sang Mi lead the SBS drama "The City Hall (시티홀)"

4/16/09 — Kim Sun Ah, Cha Seung Won, and Choo Sang Mi (김선아, 차승원, 추상미) will lead the Wednesday-Thursday drama “The City Hall (시티홀)” scheduled to be aired by SBS on 4/29, following the final episode of “Cain and Abel”.

The PD Shin Woo Chul (신우철) and the writer Kim Eun Sook (김은숙) collaborated in 3 popular dramas “Lovers in Paris (파리의 연인)”, “Lovers in Prague (프라하의 연인)”, and “On Air (온에어)”.

Kim Sun Ah plays the role Shin Mi Rae (신미래) who initially worked as a secretary in a local government and then she fights all sorts of hardships to rise to the position as a Mayor.

The main male character Jo Gook (조국) played by Cha Seung Won is a genius who was born by an unmarried mother and then works hard to pass the administration and bar exams at the same time. His dream is to become the President of South Korea. Cha Seung Won’s previous drama was “Bodyguard” aired 6 years ago.

Actress Choo Sang Mi plays the role Min Joo Hwa (민주화) who is an ambitious politician and wishes to become the Korean version of Hillary Clinton. Joo Hwa, a member of a standing committee, constantly confronts Mayor Shin Mi Rae.

Actor Lee Hyung Chul (이형철), Lee Joon Hyuk (이준혁), and actress Yoon Se Ah (윤세아) also perform in this drama.
