Tashannie – 하루하루 (Day By Day)
Genre: R&B Ballad

Album: Tashannie Vol. 1 (1999) Track 1
Watch: MV Live Performance
Comment: If we trace the origin of Western style of R&B music to Korea, male groups like Solid, Uptown and female group Tashannie comes to mind.  This week we featured Tashannie’s famous hit song "Day By Day".  The duo formed by Tasha (T) Yoon Mi Rae and Annie Lee captured the attention of fans with this R&B ballad.  At the time of its release, this genre was very new and refreshing to k-pop.  Plus this song has a lengthy MV that fans remembered.  Too bad Tashannie only released one album and broke up afterwards.  T went on to have a successful solo career and still going strong now.  She is also happily married to Drunken Tiger.  Annie worked backstage and was the choreographer of many hit songs.  "Day By Day" is one of your author’s all-time favorite k-pop songs.
