BIOGRAPHY
Happy 2010! To kick start this year featured artist, for the first week of January, Soompi featured After School, one of last year’s top rookie female groups. These energetic and adorable girls are called the Korean version of Pussy Cat Dolls. They’re that talented and eye-catching. They started as a group with the five members and have several years of training prior to debut.

In April 2009, After School released a digital single titled “DIVA” and introduced a new member “UEE” into the group, as part of After School’s admission and graduation concept. So Young “graduated” from the group in late October due to health and studies reasons. At the end of the same month, After School admitted two new members “Raina” & “Nana” into the group making After School a 7-member group now.

Their latest single, “Because of You,” has a very catchy tune and Uee’s appearance on a popular reality show, “We Got Married,” and also starring in the drama “You Are Beautiful” helped the team stand out more among other girl groups. After School is certainly a group to keep our eyes on and see how far they can take themselves in the music business.
