Comment: Kara takes the No. 1 spot with
“Lupin” on only its 2nd week on the chart. After surprisingly winning
the top female group on our last year’s Soompi Gayo Award, Kara
continues their strong showing on our chart. The title song “Lupin” is
from their recently released 3rd mini-album of the same name. Kara
vowed to return to a more fierce image on this mini-album, a concept
that did not fare too well when they used it on their debut album. But
that was then and this is now. Kara has developed a large and loyal fan
base now and fans are more receptive of their change in concept this
time.

Comment: Buzz’s main
vocalist drops one spot to No. 5. Min Kyung Hoon makes a comeback after
two years with a five track mini album. The singer has taken part in
selecting these songs carefully. The title track “It’s Love Because It
Hurts” is written by Cho Young Soo and Kang Eun Kyung. It has an
intense violin intro before settling into a beautiful ballad melody.

Time” has done a 180 degree turn with their repackaged version of their
first album. The title track is “Crazy Because of You” and it was made
by an all-star combination: co-composed by Jo Young Soo and Kim Tae Hyun
and penned by Wheesung. This dance track has a pop feel with electronic
sounds. This song has already topped many music charts in Korea and it
is our biggest mover this week, up 10 spots to No. 6. 2010 is not even
three months in and this is already T-Ara’s 3rd top 10 hits. They are
quickly becoming one of the most popular female groups in Korea.

Jung Hyun and As One’s songs. This song is asking for just one more day
before the breakup. The genre is pop ballad and very emotional,
portrayed by the powerful and talented voices of Big Mama. It is our

while since the group has worked together as a whole. The song is a
hip-hop electronica number for the LG Cyon mobile phone and once again,
it was composed by Teddy with lyrics penned by Teddy, G-Dragon, and TOP.
Through this song, the boys are to show their sexy and manly side.

himself. One of the new songs on the album is “Forgotten Breakup” which

continues on with emotional sad vocals.

2NE1 filmed a CF for it. With usual YG styled hiphop and upbeat music,
this song uses a phase of Korean children’s song “Try to Follow Me.”
Within a few hours after the release it took No. 1 spots on many online
Korean music charts.

Comment: Lim Chang Jung is a well known Korean actor, he has
won many acting awards but also a singer. He debuted in 1990 for movie
“Nam Boo Geun”. On the big screen, Lim acted in many roles but is well
known for his comedies. On music stage, he is completely different as he
is famous for his sad ballads. He debuted in 1995 with “always to me.”
He has released 11 albums and is recently promoting his album “Remind”
which is a best of and remake album. In the late 1990s to early 2000s,
almost all his album title songs were chart topping hits. “A Shot of
Soju” is a song from his 10th album in 2003. It is about reminiscing
about the past lover and wondering how they are now. At that time, he
shocked his fans by announcing that this was his last album as he wanted
to focus on his acting career. Lim changed his mind and returned to
the music scene last year with hit “Long Time No See”. Lim Chang Jung
