Wonder Girls To Have US Tour In June

The Wonder Girls have just announced the details to their first tour in the United States. Starting June 4, they plan to perform in 20 cities throughout the country.

JYP will also bring in label mates 2AM and 2PM for the tour as the opening performances for the girls. 

Only the first nine dates and locations for the “Wonder World Tour” have been revealed.

The tickets go on sale in two days for some of the locations.

According to an asiae article the “Wonder World Tour” will
produced by Live Nation, a top live events company in the U.S. which
organizes shows for some of the top artists in the world including
Madonna, Jay-Z and U2.

JYP said that Live
Nation offered to promote the Wonder Girls U.S. concerts after watching
the girls’ perform, making it the first time for the firm to host a
tour for a Korean artist.”


The Wonder Girls have also announced that their new album will be released on May 16. Famous Pop-blogger Perez Hilton will host the album’s launch event on the 15th, at which the music video for their new title song will be revealed. The Wonder Girls will also perform at the event which will be broadcast live online at USteam.

Their title song to the album will have three versions; English, Korean and Mandarin. Also on the album will be the English versions of “Nobody”, “So Hot”, and “Tell Me” as well as remixes like “Nobody
Rainstone” and “Nobody Jason Remix”.
