"Cinderella’s Sister" Continues To Dominate

KBS’s “Cinderella’s Sister” continues to dominate TV ratings during its time slot on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The series had an average rating of
18 percent on April 21 and 22 according to statistics by AGB
Nielsen Media Research on Friday. Another source, TNS Media Korea, also found that “Cinderella’s Sister’s” viewership went up to 19 percent.

The drama’s competitors, MBC’s
“Personal Taste” and SBS’ “Prosecutor Princess ” are still trailing behind.  “Personal
Taste,” which stars Son Ye-jin and Lee Min-ho, is still in second place with 12 percent on AGB’s
poll and 13.3 percent on TNS’. The ratings for “Prosecutor Princess” stayed in the low 10 percent range on both viewer ratings charts. 

“Cinderella’s Sister” started airing on March 31, and stars Moon Geun-young, Seo
Woo, Chun Jung-myung and Taecyeon. It is modern day adaptation of Cinderella with a twist as our Cinderella,
Goo Hyo Sun (Seo
Woo), is loved by everyone whereas her stepsister, Eun Jo (Moon Geun-young), has a
dark past and struggles with the fact that her mother starts to care
more for Hyo Sun than her.
