BIOGRAPHY
For this week, Soompi’s featured artist is Secret. This quartet stirred up quite a sensation on the internet when the footage of their performance climbed to the top of the online search word list. The video showed how musically talented they were with their powerful vocal presence. Secret’s first digital album contained two songs, “Three Years and Six Months” and “I Want You Back.” These songs brought out the unique musical qualities of the four girls.

Perhaps overlooked last year with so many strong girl groups debuting, Secret (consisting of Jeon Hyo Seong, Han Seon Hwa, Song Ji Eun, and Jing Geo) still impressed many fans with their debut song “I Want You Back”. Song Ji Eun, who is widely regarded as one of the new female singers with very good singing skills, has released a solo digital single duet with Hwan Hee and has also performed with Untouchable on their recent hit “Living In The Heart”.

Secret released their first mini album, “Secret Time” on April 1. The title track “Magic” has lively beats and was composed by Sinsadong Tiger, Kang Ji Won, and Kim Ki Bum. This will definitely be their breakthrough hit and puts Secret on the map with already an amazing core of girl groups.
