KPop Injuries This Week

2PM’s Chansung and C.N Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa have been hospitalised on May 24. 4minute’s HyunA and BEAST member JunHyung were also injured earlier this week.

After the filming of SBS Inkigayo on May 23, Chansung had complained of abdominal pain and went to the hospital for a health examination the next day. His agency revealed, “We will decide again his upcoming schedules after the health examination report comes out on May 25.” 2PM member JunSu has also been missing from the group’s performances and live stages last weekend due to his recent knee injury.

A JYP rep revealed, “JunSu is also currently still recuperating from his knee injury. There is high possibility that the group will promote as 4 members for the time being.”

Jung YongHwa of CN Blue has been hospitalized with the flu. Previously, he had complained of discomfort during the filming of SBS Chocolate on April 21, and was later diagnosed of vocal code nodules at the hospital. News report came afterward that he had recovered faster than expected, and the group had went ahead of their comeback stages for new album ‘Blue Love’ last week.

Representatives from both companies have revealed that they will decide on what to do with the 2′s upcoming schedules after the health examination reports are out.

Earlier this week, Cube Entertainment performers HyunA (4minute) had injured her finger and Junhyung (BEAST) had injured his flank.

After the girls’ performance on KBS Music Bank, the girls were heading to their next schedule. Due to the fan crowd, HyunA had her fingers caught in the car door. She had complained of great pain back then, and was brought to the hospital for treatment. Luckily, there was no fracture.  She is still recovering from the injury, and is carrying out her schedule with care.

BEAST member Yong JunHyung is said to have injured his flank, and are will receiving body examinations for that. He injured himself while carrying out the choreography during a performance on May 21.

He had assured the staff that he was alright back then, but he was sent to the hospital for precise examination on May 22 to see if it was serious.

A representative told Newsen, “It is not serious injury, but we have him to go for a precise body examination just in case. Fans do not need to worry too much as it is not serious injury.”
