Shin Hye Sung Speaks About His Struggles

On June 6, Shinhwa’s Shin Hye Sung held his first solo concert in Japan with 7,000 attendees. During the press conference, he commented on the gambling charges he received last year. He stated that the charges were brought up during a very busy time in his career and it made him feel “uncomfortable” while debuting in Japan. Because of the charges, he was afraid whether he could become a singer again.

Although burdened by the issue, Shin Hye Sung will be working hard and is planning to release a new album in Korea sometime in the fall season. Be sure to watch out for it!

“I would like to apologize again to fans, whom I let down, from the bottom of my heart,” he said. “Please help me so that I can perform onstage again in Korea.”
