Kero One to release ‘Kinetic World’ on June 15th
Bay Area indie hip-hop producer/emcee Kero One is set to release his third album, ‘Kinetic World’ on June 15th. The album follows up on his 2009 album ‘Early Believers,’ which spawned a Korean edition that featured additional verses from Epik High, MYK and Dynamic Duo.
As for ‘Kinetic World’ itself, the guest artists that have been confirmed to appear on the album include Tablo (of Epik High), MYK, Dumbfoundead, Sam Ock and others. The lead single for ‘Kinetic World’ is the collaboration track “Asian Kids” which was released May 18th on the iTunes Music Store. The song itself tackles the stereotypes of Asian youth in modern day society.
Fans of alternative, conscious and soulful hip-hop will enjoy Kero One’s signature jazzy sound and production. As a bonus for his avid listeners, Kero has also released special behind the scenes footage of the track creation process on his YouTube channel.
