T, Tiger JK, and Lena Park Selected as Judges for Super Star K 2 Auditions in LA
Popular Korean talent search show, Super Star K had received great responses last year, ending the season with the rise of many rookie artists, Seo In Gook, Gil Hak Mi, and Jung Seul Gi to name a few.
The program continues this summer with its second season, and has expanded its auditions to Los Angeles, California.
Three of the four judges have already been picked: respected hip-hop artists T and Tiger JK, and R&B diva Lena Park. The three singers were picked because they have a great grasp of the American culture and the English language. Lena Park in particular, is a Korean American who graduated from an Ivy League School.
The auditions will be held this Saturday at Los Angeles CGV Theater. Because June 26th is the same day as Korea’s World Cup game with Uruguay, many plan to stop by to audition after the game.
The first episode of Super Star K 2 will air on July 23rd at 11PM.
