Blast from the Past with Simon D

Simon D of Supreme Team has been getting lots of love through his team’s music and through a number of variety shows. He recently had an interview with Money Today’s Star News, where he revealed stories and pictures from his past.

He still has the same baby face from when he was little. And apparently, his hip hop force(?) began at an early age when he had earphones in his ears and wore his cap backwards.

“People told me to look into becoming a child actor”

“In the song ‘Then’ off of our ‘Supremier’ album, I wrote a line that goes like this: ‘Mama said when I was four, she would go out with me on her back and everyone would say how pretty I was.’ At around that time was when lots of people would tell me to become a child actor or look into child modeling.”

“I loved hip hop then as much as I do now”

“I can’t remember that clearly, but I think this is when I was in 4^th grade. I loved listening to music starting when I was young, so the earphones never came out of my ears. Don’t you see a hip hop force even then through my backwards cap, my big clothes, and my pose?”

“At graduation with  my mother”

“This is a picture I took with my mother at my high school graduation. I was so excited about graduating that I did my own hair with a straightening iron, but looking at it now, it’s a bit embarrassing. I tried to look real cool but a few minutes after this picture was taken, I remember being bombarded with eggs and flour. And that is how I safely finished my graduation.”
