Jung Woo Sung Returns to TV After Fourteen Years

Look out, drama lovers!  Hotshot Jung Woo Sung is back in town!

Jung Woo Sung hasn’t appeared in a TV drama since “Asphalt Man” aired fourteen years ago.  However, the movie star has accepted an offer to star in the upcoming SBS drama, “Athena”, which will debut in December.

Jung will play super-skilled secret agent Lee Jung Woo in “Athena”, which is one of the most anticipated (and expensive) dramas to come out of the Korean airwaves.  And being that Jung has long since cemented his reputation as a successful movie actor, people’s expectations of him are equally high.  A preview photo of the actor showed him in a well-cut tuxedo and the debonair attitude of James Bond.  Not bad after fourteen years without being in dramas!

Jung Woo Sung isn’t the only big-screen actor returning to the small screen for “Athena”: co-stars Soo Ae and Cha Seung Woo are also making their TV apperances for the first time in awhile.  “Athena” must be a very special drama.  We can’t wait to see it!
