Jeon Do Yeon's Father Dies of Cancer

Jeon Do Yeon’s father has passed away from lung cancer.  Up until his death, he had been receiving treatment at the National Cancer Center in Ilsan.  He passed away on December 9 at 12:47 PM.

Jeon Do Yeon is a highly acclaimed actress who in 2007 won the best actress award (for her role in Lee Chang Dong’s “Secret Sunshine”) at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.  After she finished shooting the film “The Housemaid” in 2010, she halted all activities to take care of her father. 

We extend our condolences to Jeon’s father, her family, and all his friends.
