JYP Nation Performs First Joint Concert on Christmas Eve
The artists of JYP Entertainment, now collectively titled “JYP Nation”, joined each other on Christmas Eve to perform in front of 10,000 fans at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul for their first-ever joint concert. CEO Park Jin Young, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Lim Jeong Hee, Joo, San E, and miss A took the stage for the three-hour concert titled “TEAMPLAY”. 2AM was not mentioned as performing, which makes sense since they kicked off their own solo concert “Saint o’clock” that day.
It wasn’t just the current roster who performed; former JYPE artists Rain and former g.o.d. members Son Ho Young and Kim Tae Woo also put in appearances. Highlights of the concert included Wonder Girls’ Sohee and Sun showing off their dance skills during miss A’s “Breathe” and 2PM’s “Heartbeat” (for the latter, they were also joined by fellow Wonder Girls Yenny and Yubin, as well as miss A’s Fei and Jia). Fei also dueled with 2PM’s Chansung to a tango version of 2PM’s “Without U”. JYP and 2PM’s Nichkhun, Junho, and Taecyeon also performed a special rendition of “Bad Boy, Good Boy” (if you’re curious about “mr. A”, check out this clip of the boys minus Taecyeon performing the same song the next day at the KBS Entertainment Awards).
JYP Nation thanked their fans for attending their first joint concert. “It was meaningful to spend this Christmas with our fans through our first joint concert from the artists of JYP Nation,” the members were quoted as saying.
