Biography:

Street Digger is a mixed hip hop trio I found by being a “dhhiphopplaya” subscriber via Youtube. The trio consists of female vocalist Umjie and rappers Choi Cci and Ancease. Originally, Street Digger comprised of only the two rappers but Umjie joined the duo in 2010. After about eight months since their last release, they returned last week with their newest single “Whenever.” This time, there is a music video for their track “Whenever” with cameos of Basick, Superstar K Season 1’s Kim Hyun Ji, and LEO. Tri Entertainment’s Kim Sae Han Gil and S.D.Z’s Tez and Billion and many other artists were also cameos for the music video.

Through a couple Youtube videos, their music video and their singles, Umjie showcases her strong and soulful R&B voice splendidly while Choi Cci’s sweet vocals and Ancease’s smooth rap together with their upbeat rhythms makes their music refreshing to listen to. They show a somewhat different color with each of their singles but still retain that little hint of what makes them them.
