Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2011 - January Week 4

Secret’s “Shy Boy” leapfrogs 19 spots to become our new No. 1 song, surpassing even DBSG’s “Keep Your Head Down” which moves up to No. 2. While DBSG is winning on most of the TV stations and album sales, Secret is winning on most internet charts and airplay sources.

For this week’s new songs, look out for MBLAQ’s “Stay”, the title song of their first full album, debuting at No. 14. Also, CNBlue’s frontman Jung Yong Hwa has his first solo hit “For First Time Lovers” at No. 17.

This completes our “catch up” of the past weeks’ music charts. Starting January week 5, we’ll resume our normal weekly chart posting schedule. I’ll also announce some of the changes made to the sources of this chart to make it more accurate and up-to-date.
