JYJ Yoochun's Little Brother, Another Star in the Making?
Did you know JYJ’s Yoochun had a little brother named Park Yoo Hwan that looks exactly like him? Well, you may want to check him out as he’s all but set to make his acting debut next week through MBC drama “Shiny Shiny Shining.”
In the show, Yoo Hwan plays the role of Lee Seo Woo, the half-brother of Han Ji Woong (played by Jang Yong), who happens to be 43 years older than Yoo Hwan’s character due to a complicated family tree. Seo Woo also is an uncle of two older people in the drama, making him a very mysterious and picky, yet lonely character that’s hard to deal with.
Yoo Hwan started shooting the drama on Jan. 28th in Ilsan, and according to local media, the production crew has been very impressed with his acting skills so far. “Yoo Hwan’s role is an emotionally complicated character due to his unusual family background. But Yoo Hwan, despite being in his first TV drama, has been doing great. He’s doing his absolute best to perfectly portray Seo Woo’s character, so please look forward to him improve as an actor throughout the show,” an official from the production team told local media.
JYJ’s Yoochun has also been supportive of his brother as he posted some encouraging messages and photos of Yoo Hwan through his Twitter account lately. Fan expectations are also high because of Yoo Hwan’s relationship with Yoochun, so it should be interesting to see how Yoo Hwan pans out as an actor in the future. Viewers will get to see his first acting through MBC on Feb. 12th.
