JYP Accepts Jay Park’s Apology
Park Jin Young, CEO of JYP Entertainment, has accepted Jay Park’s apology.
According to Korean local media, JYP sent an official letter to Korean Popular Culture Association (KPCA) requesting support for Jay Park to resume his celebrity activities as soon as possible.
“I hope Jay Park will forget about the past and show a more positive image through TV and entertainment activities,” JYP was quoted as saying by local media.
The KPCA also sent an official letter to the three major TV networks in Korea requesting them to ease restrictions on Jay Park’s TV activities, which is expected to enhance his promotions.
After the release of this news, netizens have shown great support saying, “This is great news. Hope to see him more on TV,” and “Park Jin Young is such a great person.”
In 2009, Jay Park was pretty much forced to leave Korea after he was found to have left blog post messages containing derogatory terms in describing Korea. And in Feb. 2010, he was kicked out of 2PM due to unexplained reasons.
