SNSD Ranks #2 On Japan's List of Power Groups

In the March edition of Japan’s Nikkei Entertainment Magazine, according to the calculations of last year’s album sales, SNSD ranked #2 in the list of power groups. Nikkei reported a total sale of 121,000 albums for the girls last year. 

The #1 spot was claimed by the popular Japanese group AKB48 with total sales reaching 679,000, Perfume came in third, and KARA came in fourth place.
