Yoon Eun Hye, Yoo In Na, Park Han Byul, and Cha Ye Ryun Team up for “My Black Mini Dress”

Four of the most amazing Korean actresses – Yoon Eun Hye, Yoo In Na, Park Han Byul, and Cha Ye Ryun – have teamed up as leads for the new movie “My Black Mini Dress,” which premieres March 24th. The four have already garnered much attention for their chic and captivating fashion spread in W magazine. “My Black Mini Dress” tells the story about four twenty-something-year-olds as they go through the ups and downs of life as they face reality after graduating from college.

Yoon Eun Hye’s character, Yoo Min, aspires to be a famous writer; but as the youngest writer in her company, she is dismayed because she is assigned to trivial tasks. Yoon Eun Hye is no stranger to playing bright and spunky characters. She has been cast as the female leads for MBC’s “Princess Hours,” KBS2’s “The Vineyard Man,” MBC’s “Coffee Prince,” and KBS2’s “Take Care of the Young Lady.” This is only Yoon Eun Hye’s second silver screen production; her first film was 2006’s “The Legend of Seven Cutters.” She confessed that she’s been longing to film a movie for some time.

Yoo In Na makes her first lead movie debut with “My Black Mini Dress.” Her repertoire includes MBC sitcom “High Kick Through the Roof” and SBS’s “Secret Garden.” She’s also been making a name for herself in SBS’s variety program “Heroes.” Yoo In Na has also acted as supporting actress in 2009’s “Fair Love.” For this movie, she plays fashionista Min Hee who dreams of becoming an internationally-known fashion designer; unfortunately, she’s just a beautiful fool who doesn’t speak a word of English. Yoo In Na has been participating in diverse activities. Last February, Yoo In Na was able to feature in Humming Urban Stereo’s digital single, and she also plans to partake in a concert.

Ulzzang star and long-time girlfriend (10 years!) to singer Seven, Park Han Byul is the third leading lady for “My Black Mini Dress.” She debuted with “Wishing Stairs” (2003), the third movie in a series of horror films that are set in a girls high school. The horror series is famous for catapulting the careers of some of Korea’s current A-list actresses. She’s a familiar face in the silver screen with her other movies “Fate” (2008) and “Yoga School.” (2009). With “My Black Mini Dress,” Park Han Byul is able to steer away from genre-specific movies and portray a character that is similar in age to her. Park Han Byul’s character, Hye Ji, is a theater major who aims to become a famous celebrity. Park Han Byul will also show her powerful dancing skills in the movie.

Actress Cha Ye Ryun, like Park Han Byul, also debuted with the girls high school horror series. She appeared in the fourth, “Voices” (2005), of the horror series and 2006’s “A Bloody Aria.” Cha Ye Ryun is currently part of MBC’s “Royal Family” as the smart and ambitious granddaughter of a chaebol. In “My Black Mini Dress,” Cha Ye Ryun’s Soo Jin is a spunky aspiring actress who has gone through over one hundred auditions.
