“49 Days” Jo Hyun Jae’s Daring Fashion Spread

After a three year hiatus, Jo Hyun Jae finally made his comeback with SBS drama 49 Days. In early March, he shot for a spread in fashion magazine CeCi. Once his photos for the magazine were released, Jo Hyun Jae’s daring avant-garde fashion style became a hot topic. Representatives at his agency, Star N Hit Entertainment, commented: “The concept for the spread was to show Jo Hyun Jae in various ways – just as you would see variations of the same object in a kaleidoscope. You can see different appeals of Jo Hyun Jae in various angles.  

Pop art is the key word in fashion for the Spring/Summer 2011. The shoot utilized this theme with various looks – from layering tuxedo jackets with denim and wearing boldly accessorized fedoras. Jo Hyun Jae breaks away from his well-groomed image by wearing dark smoky makeup for the spread. Jo Hyun Jae currently acts as Han Kang in 49 Days along with Lee Yeo Won, Bae Soo Bin, Nam Gyuri, Jung Il Woo, and Suh Ji Hye.
