Jang Geun Suk’s “You’re Beautiful” to Have a Movie Version in Japan

Jang Geun Suk, Jung Yong Hwa, and Park Shin Hye’s megapopular drama You’re Beautiful (2009) is enjoying tremendous popularity in Japan as well. From May 6^th to the 19^th, Japanese fans will be able to enjoy a movie version of the hit series in theaters. The drama is about fictional boy band A.N.Jell and the relationship between its members when Go Mi Nyeo (Park Shin Hye) pretends to be her twin brother and joins the group.

You’re Beautiful’s actors are also enjoying explosive popularity both in Korea and abroad. Jang Geun Suk was able to strengthen his status as the international hallyu star of the next generation. Jang will release a debut Japanese single on April 27^th. Singer Lee Hong Ki was able to be recognized for his acting skills and was casted in a Japanese drama titled Muscle Girl. Both Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye have been casted for upcoming MBC drama You Fell in Love with Me, directed by Pyo Min Soo.
