Park Shin Hye’s Animation Enters Annecy International Animation Film Festival

Two Korean animation films have been invited to the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the equivalent to Cannes Film Festival in the animation world. The House directed by Park Eun Young and Green Days by Han Hye Jin and Ahn Jae Hoon have qualified for the competition.

 Park Mi Sun, Park Eun Young, Ban Joo Young, Lee Jae Ho, and Lee Hyun Jin participated in The House, a feature animation film. The Korean Academy of Film Arts produced this animation over the course of three years. It portrays the life of Ga Young who lives in a rooftop house, often associated with lower social status and poverty in Korea. The House manages to depict the harsh reality of the Korean society. Actor Kim Ggot Bi of Breathless participated in the voice acting.

 Green Days is about two teenagers as they go on a journey to discover their goals and dreams. Park Shin Hye of You’re Beautiful and Song Chang Ui of Life is Beautiful acted the voices of the main characters in Green Days. The Annecy International Animation Film Festival will take place June 6 – 11^th.
