Jang Keun Suk Visits Singapore

On April 22, Jang Keun Suk met a room full of  reporters just three hours after landing in Singapore. Although being tired and having caught a flu while in China, Jang Keun Suk displayed his professionalism with smiles for the cameras.

Back in Singapore for the second time exactly one year later, what does Jang Keun Suk miss the most in Singapore? Its the Hainanese Chicken Rice, which is often considered as the “national dish” of Singapore. Host Ah Dong from Radio 1003 asked if it was alright that Jang Keun Suk ate that (the rice is oily), as the latter happily declared that he’s no longer on a diet and he just wanted to enjoy his time in Singapore. He also has the Black Pepper Crab on his agenda!

One reporter commented that many actresses are hesitant to work with Jang Keun Suk as they are worried their beauty would be outshone by him. To this, Jang Keun Suk begs to differ, citing it depends on the characters he had to portray, the diet and hairstyle also changes.

Asked if there were any difficulties in recording the japanese album “Let Me Cry”, Jang Keun Suk shared that there weren’t any particular difficulties but noted the difference — the album represents himself, not as an actor but as an artist.

All of us know that Jang Keun Suk can dance, sing and act, but if he were to choose just one thing to do for the rest of his career, what would it be and why?

The answer came as no surprise 

Aren’t you curious who would Jang Keun Suk go to for advices? Although he always receives advices from friends, Jang Keun Suk named Lee Hong Ki from FT Island and his co-star in You Are Beautiful, as the person who has given him the most advice.

On his donation to Japan earthquake, Jang Keun Suk expressed it was an unfortunate event and he wishes to continue helping out people in need as he carries out his career.

Two hours after the press conference, Jang Keun Suk was greeted by thousands of ardent fans when he arrived at Marina Square shopping mall for the autograph and photograph session. Get your ear plugs ready before you click to play the clip below!!

A hundred fans took home a poster personally autograhed by Jang Keun Suk — with their name written on it! Many of them asked, and received it — a tight hug from him!

The photograph session also saw three hundred fans leaving the stage grinning from ear to ear, as they were standing next to the minam of their dreams! 

I was very fortunate to receive a complimentary ticket to watch his performance at the CRI show held on April 23. Jang Keun Suk really gave and showed his best even though he could be seen coughing during the short breaks. He has returned to Korea today, hope he could get some proper rest and recover soon from the flu.
