[Updated] Jay Park’s Name Omitted on SBS’s “Inkigayo” Take 7

On May 5th Jay Park will have his comeback stage on SBS’s “Inkigayo.” However, Jay Park is currently missing on the list of the “Take 7” voting corner. It is unconfirmed whether he is included or not on “Take 7.” Currently fans cannot vote for Jay Park.

Fans of Jay Park have been writing on SBS “Inkigayo’s” message board and calling SBS.

Jay Park on May 6th at 1pm wrote on his twitter, “Everyone please don’t be angry at the broadcasting company and don’t worry about voting. Just watch the show and listen to the songs, don’t worry about anything else.”

According to Star News, SBS is going through problems because they are receiving so many phone calls.

Currently Jay Park released his album on April 27th and is currently performing with the title song “Abandoned.”

*Update: The PD of Inkigayo told Newsen moments ago and explained that, “The casting for singers who make a come back oftentimes gets finalized late. Once the casting is confirmed, the list gets sent to the website management team, and in the process, sometimes the name gets lost from the list.” He added a similar incident has happened a number of times in the past and ensured, “Jay Park will obviously be included in the list and fans will be able to vote for him from next week.” The PD continued he and the script writers are very frustrated because of the relentless calls they’re receiving, that’s even coming through their personal cell phones. “In the case of a come back singer, votes from that week don’t even get included in the scoring process. It’s not like we count the votes Saturday night. We finish the vote count prior to that, so it doesn’t get reflected anyways,” the PD added.
