Super Junior Captivates Fans with First Solo Concert in Vietnam

Super Junior held their first solo concert in Vietnam on May 7th as part the group’s third Asian Tour, “Super Show 3.” Despite the heavy rain, Vietnamese fans came out to support the widely popular boy band as more than 9,000 people filled up the seats at Go Dau Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City. At the concert, Super Junior sang a total of 35 tracks live, including “Sorry Sorry,” “U,” “Mi In Ah,” while each member and sub units (Super Junior-T and Super Junior-M) gave individual performances for over three hours.

The group’s presence in Vietnam was a huge event as the country’s biggest stars such as Ho Ngoc Ha and Thanh Hang attended the event, and major press including Thanh Nien, Xone FM, and Yan TV all provided full coverage. “It’s an honor to have Super Junior, Asia’s most popular group, have a concert in Vietnam. Through the success of this concert, we’ll be able to see a lot more high-quality events in Vietnam,” said a representative of VIET VISION, the promoter for the concert.

The “Super Show 3” is Super Junior’s third Asian tour concert covering multiple Asian cities. The group has or is scheduled to perform in Manila, Beijing, Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, Yokohama, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei. Their first Japanese single “Bonamana” is set for release on June 8th, and ringtone services will be available starting on May 18th
