SM Entertainment Announces Second Concert in Paris
Your wish has been granted Euro fans as SM Entertainment (SME) announced today that they will hold a second concert of “SM Town Live World Tour in Paris” on June 11th. “Tickets to the first concert sold out in a mere 15 minutes and more than 300 French fans held a street mob event in front of the Louvre Museum in Paris. In order to respond to the explosive demand from our fans, we decided to add a second concert,” SM Entertainment said in a statement. Today’s announcement makes SME the first Korean entertainment agency to hold two concerts in Europe.
The event will take place on June 10th and 11th at Le Zenith de Paris, where the likes of global stars Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, and the Jonas Brothers have performed in the past. For both concerts, all of the major SME artists are expected to make appearances including DBSK, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINEee, and f(x). Fans can purchase tickets at LiveNation (www.livenation.fr) and FnacSpectacles (www.fnacspectacles.com) starting May 16th. “SM Town Live World Tour” has also been held in Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Shanghai. More than 100,000 fans have purchased tickets to its Tokyo Dome concert scheduled for Sept. 3rd and 4th. You can share more information of this event at Soompi’s own forum here.
