FT Island to Return to Korea after Nearly a Year in Japan
FT Island released a teaser photo for their upcoming mini album “Return” today, the first Korean album since the “Beautiful Journey” mini album last August. The group said the new album name is supposed to signify their return to Korea after nearly a year away in Japan. “FT Island, who’s been quite successful in Japan, is returning to Korea. The members are training hard in anticipation of meeting the Korean fans again,” FNC Music told local media. Their Japanese single “Satisfaction” reached #2 on the Oricon Weekly Charts in April, and the lead vocalist Lee Hong Ki appeared in TBS drama “Muscle Girl.” The scheduled release date of “Return” is May 24th and the first teaser video will be released on May 20th.
