Jay Park "Just me, Jay" Photo Album Meet & Greet

On May 15th at the Lee Hwa Women’s University Dae Kang Dang, Jay Park had a fan meet & greet for the launch of his photo album “Just me, Jay.” On this day a clip titled “Accompany” showed the behind story for the photo album.

After the clip “Accompany” played Jay Park appeared on stage and asked, “Did you have fun watching the clip? I didn’t get a chance to see the final version. I only caught glimpses behind stage. I couldn’t really see the clip and now I’m very curious, I should’ve watched it from one of the back seats instead (Laugh).”

During the event Jay Park talked briefly about his photo album, and then there was a Q&A section for fans.

On question was asked, “If you could continue acting, what role would you like to play?” Jay Park answered, “I would like to play a Jackie Chan role, I would like to show comedy and action at the same time! Doesn’t it fit with me?”

Another question was asked, “What do the fans mean to Jay Park?” He replied, “The reason that I’m living and existing. If there weren’t any fans then you probably wouldn’t be able to see me in the future. Also, the fans are what give me the drive to live. The fans are also the final destination that I will arrive at eventually.”

During the event, Jay Park also gave out different souvenirs and pictures from the photo album for the fans.

After the two hours, Jay Park ended the event saying, “I sincerely thank all of you who have come today. I am glad that you fans have enjoyed my pictures taken in Seattle. I will try to be a Jay Park that tries harder. Please have continued interest in me and watch me. Thank you once again for coming out today. I wish for your health, and hope that you are always happy.” 

Currently Jay Park’s new single “Abandoned” was #1 on KBS’s “Music Bank” for two consecutive weeks as of May 13th.
