4Minute’s So Hyun “I was a Social Outcast”

On May 19^th for Mnet’s “Beatles Code” 4 Minute’s Kwon So Hyun confessed that she used to be a social outcast (Wang Dda in Korean). When So Hyun was in elementary school she debuted with the girl group “Orange” and she used to be an outcast. She also said, “At that time my singer life was very short,” “It was painful and I couldn’t let go of being a singer.”

At the time So Hyun was only 12 years old and in 5^th grade. She was a singer at a young age and her friends were jealous and envious of her. The internet was still in its infant stage in South Korea and she received a lot of hateful comments and an anti-café was even created. During that time she couldn’t get along with her school friends and they had also made her into a social outcast.

She graduated and while in middle school she saw her older sister debut and her dream of becoming a singer came back and became a member of 4 Minute.
