Friends and Family Say Their Final Farewells to Chae Dong Ha

On the morning of May 29th, friends and family gathered at the Seoul University Hospital to send off the late Chae Dong Ha. Former SG Wannabe bandmate and friend Kim Yong Joon carried Chae Dong Ha’s portrait. Fellow SG Wannabe members Lee Seok Hun and Kim Jin Ho, along with M to M’s Son Jun Hyuk, and other celebrities stayed by the late singer’s side till the very end. He was laid to rest in Kyeonggido Kwangjusshi’s Bundang Sky Castle Memorial Park.

The late Chae Dong Ha debuted in 2002 as a solo artist and joined SG Wannabe in 2004. He stayed with the group until 2008 as the main vocalist. Some of his hit songs as part of the ballad group include “Timeless,” “While You Live,” and “My Person.” He left the group March 2008 to pursue his solo career and was preparing for his 31st birthday concert before his death.
