Hyo Rin Wins First in "Immortal" Contest

SISTAR’s Hyo Rin took first on KBS 2TV’s “Declaration of Freedom: Immortal 2” contest.

On June 4th’s broadcasted episode of the final round, Hyo Rin won first place singing “That Person”, overtaking 2AM Changmin’s “Because You’re a Woman”.

On this day, Hyo Rin was the fourth contestant to sing an original, slow tempo with a change to a fast-paced song; she displayed an intense dance routine on stage, pulling many cheers from the audience. She gave a perfect performance with a colorful, resonation of voice and passed expectations to take the win.

BEAST however, faced the bitter taste of defeat with the song “Hate”.

Super Junior’s Ye Sung (“I Only Know Love”), SHINee’s Jong Hyun (“Million Roses”), IU (“Man is Ship, Port is Woman”), SISTAR’s Hyo Rin (“That Person”), BEAST’s Yo Seob (“Hate”), and 2AM’s Chang Min (“Because You’re a Woman”) have made their appearance.

The order went one-to-one with the winner going against the next contestant. One of the most important thing is the power of the song itself – but of course, unique characteristics can be brought onto stage. Hyo Rin has displayed this perfectly.
