MBLAQ's G.O To Join "Immortal Song 2"

It has recently been confirmed that MBLAQ’s main vocalist G.O will be joining the cast for KBS’ “Immortal Song 2.”

The casting producer Kwon PD stated on the 8th, “Unfortunately, Yoseob will be leaving the show due to B2ST’s busy schedule, and G.O will replace him starting the next episode.”

There was quite a stir after contestants including IU, Super Junior’s Yesung, and SHINee’s Jonghyun left only after the first episode. After Yoseob’s leave was also confirmed, frustrated viewers asked, “Were contestants casted for just one episode?”

In response, Kwon PD said, “After Secret’s Song Jieun, 2PM’s Junsu, FT Island’s Lee Hongki, and MBLAQ’s G.O join, we will continue with the same cast for a month.” It has also been reported that 2AM’s Changmin personally called Junsu and G.O, encouraging them “not to get too nervous.”

He concluded confidently by saying, “If a broadcasting company were to ask idols to forego their activities for the show, that would be tyrannical. We would just like to give viewers a high quality show with open performances for idols.”
