Jang Woo Hyuk to Debut as Actor in Taiwan
Following Park Shin Hye, Goo Hye Sun, and Super Junior’s Siwon and Donghae, now we have one more Korea idol star coming to Taiwan to participate in another Taiwanese drama, the idol is former H.O.T. member – Jang Woo Hyuk.
In an interview with TV Daily, Jang Woo Hyuk revealed that he will be debuting as actor in Taiwan this summer, the title of the drama remains unknown, yet it seems to be a youth romance. Jan Woo Hyuk said, “I’m really looking forward to it, although I’m worrid about my acting at the same time.” He further revealed that there have always been offers from dramas and movies; he does have interests in acting but he’d rather be careful with his choice. He was even offered Kang Dong Won’s role in movie “Temtation of the Wolves”; he gave up in the end because he thought he wasn’t ready yet.
Regarding to his decision of taking part in a Taiwanese drama, he stated, “I really want to try it now because I know the opportunity will be less and less; I’m not sure if I’ll keep on acting afterwards, but I’ll work hard to try and learn to act. Hope to show everyone a better acting. ”
He is planning on leaving for Taiwan at the end of July or the beginning of August, and will be concentrating on filming for a whole month.
