T-ara are John Travolta Wannabes
Girl group T-ara’s Korean comeback is set for July!
According to a statement from T-ara’s agency, Core Contents Media, T-ara’s upcoming album will be called “John Travolta Wannabe,” featuring the track “Bo Peep Bo Peep 2.” The group is working with Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyu Sung for the 80’s retro-disco style track, inspired by John Travolta’s image in the film “Saturday Night Fever.”
The new concept will also bring back popular dance moves of the disco generation of the 70s and 80s. Fans can expect T-ara’s take on the hustle, diamond dance and ABC dance incorporated in the choreography. To further enhance and recreate the disco feel, T-ara will be performing the song with a large ensemble of 20 dancers onstage.
T-ara is composed of Hyomin, Soyeon, Jiyeon, Boram, Eunjung, Qri and Hwayoung. T-ara’s “John Travolta Wannabe” is expected to drop on July 1st.
