T-ara is holding their first showcase at Shibuya, Tokyo on July 5th, and their agency Core Contents Media revealed on the 18th that the showcase has attracted more than 70,000 applicants!

Apparently T-ara is already a big hit in Japan since this is only their first showcase in Japan. According to T-ara’s Japanese agency Smile Company, “The showcase was meant to invite only 1500 fans, yet more than 70,000 fans applied for it, thus made it a 46:1 chance of being accepted. The process will be done through a lottery, so every fan has a chance to win.”

T-ara will be performing their previous hit songs at the showcase, including “Why Are You Like This?”, “I Go Crazy Because of You”, “Yayaya”, and “Bo Peep Bo Peep”. Meanwhile, they are making a comeback in Korea on July 1st with new track “RolyPoly,” which is a song inspired by the 80’s retro theme yet with a modern twist. It will be featured at the showcase as well.

The girls are busy preparing for their Korean comeback and Japanese showcase. The new music video is filming on the 18th and 19th.
