Celeb Style File: Lee Seung Gi

Celeb Style File is our weekly in-depth look at a celebrity’s real-life style.  This week, we’ve chosen to feature the multi-talented Lee Seung Gi, who most recently starred in the 2010 drama “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (Nine-Tailed Fox)”.  Here we look at his public appearances during the past year.

If you haven’t already been bowled over by Lee Seung Gi’s magnetic smile and good-boy persona, all you need to do is read his profile to see why he’s a force to be reckoned with.  Unlike most actors of his standing, Lee Seung Gi debuted as a singer, collecting several music awards over the years before crossing over to acting.  He scored his first lead role in the 2009 drama “Brilliant Legacy”, which not coincidentally became one of the most popular dramas of the year and propelled his fame not only at home but through Asia as well.  At the same time, he began hosting the variety shows “1 Night 2 Days” and “Strong Heart”, where his easy charm and clever dialogue won him several popularity awards for both shows.  On top of this, Lee Seung Gi managed to finish his studies and graduate from Dongguk University in four years with a degree in International Trade and Commerce in 2009.  Not to be satisfied with a mere bachelor’s degree, he is currently pursuing graduate studies at the same university.  Oh, and have we also mentioned that he is considered the “CF king” in Korea, surpassing all other celebrities in number of products endorsed this past year?

We hope you’re starting to get a good picture of what Lee Seung Gi is all about!  He’s a guy with charm, perseverance, and intelligence in spades — and his clothing absolutely reflects his character.  Lee Seung Gi makes very few mistakes when it comes to dressing.  His style is classic and almost always right on target.  Now perhaps you personally prefer something more exciting, but we think that his style allows Lee Seung Gi to show off his best feature — did you even have to ask?  That megawatt smile!

Favorite outfit: This is such a hard choice!  Maybe the three outfits from the Samsung Zipel events?  Although there’s not much we can pick out in terms of styling, we think he looked really good!

Least favorite outfit: It probably has to be the SBS Entertainment Awards.  There’s the matter of the unusually messy hair, and the suit just looked pretty average.

As always, if you have suggestions for celebrities to feature, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate!  See you next weekend!
