Soompi Drama of the Week: "The Greatest Love"

This week we saw the end of one of this year’s most beloved rom-com dramas, “The Greatest Love” (aka “Best Love”). For two months, Dokko Jin (Cha Seung Won) brought smiles to his fan with his cheesy lines and uniquely Dokko Jin’s arrogance, scratch that – charms.

Gu Ae Jung (Gong Hyo Jin) was once the most popular member of girl group “National Treasure Girls.” Fast forward ten years, she’s a washed out celebrity who everyone loves to hate. Despite her friendly and hard-working personality, she has a hard time warming up to the public. Dokko Jin, on the other hand, is a top movie star at the height of his career. He’s full of confidence, arrogance, and flaws. The drama also throws in Kang Se Ri (Yoo In Na), an A-list entertainer, as well as former “National Treasure Girls’” member, and Pil Joo (Yoon Gye Sang), an oriental doctor, to spice up the romance and angst.

For those of you who have been following the drama, what are your thoughts? Did you like the ending? Did you have an alternate ending in mind? Consider this your “open thread” to rant and rave about the “drama of the week!”
