Music Japan to Encore SNSD Special with Unseen Footage
Japan’s Sones will have more of SNSD to look forward to. Music Japan’s “Girls’ Generation Special,” aired over NHK in early June will get an encore broadcast on July 15th, 1 AM (Japan time.) The re-broadcast, announced over SNSD’s Japan label, Universal Music Japan, will include 15 minutes’ worth of unseen footage, including behind-the-scenes cuts.
The original broadcast documented the girl group’s journey in the Land of the Rising Sun, from their debut until their first tour, set to conclude in mid-July.
SNSD has recently posted successes in their efforts to reach Japanese audiences, as evidenced by the well-attended Japan Arena Tour and their “1st Japanese Album” reaching double platinum within a month of release.
SNSD will return to Korea for two concerts at the Olympic Gymnastics Stadium on July 23rd and 24th.
