"Heartstrings'" So Yi Hyun Reveals Ballerina Photos

Stills of So Yi Hyun, who plays dance professor Jung Yoon Soo on youth melodrama “Heartstrings” were recently revealed. The photos show the actress in one of the incarnations of her character: a 25-year-old prima ballerina associated with the prestigious New York City Ballet.

However, Yoon Soo suffered a serious injury and has retired from her dancing career.  Instead, she is currently teaching at an arts and music university where she receives the ardent, though one-sided affections of Lee Shin (Jung Yong Hwa.)

So Yi Hyun trained ballet three hours a day for her character and was able to portray the delicate and elegant pose of a dancer.  Her images in red and white tutus invoke famous ballets such as “Swan Lake.”

“Heartstrings” airs on MBC at 9:55 PM KST, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
